Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy S4 APN settings

Fortunately you can activate a Samsung Galaxy S4 on Straight Talk, there are just a couple things you have to keep in mind first.

  1. You will not get 4g data
  2. You’ll need a microSIM for Straight Talk or a regular size SIM cut to size.
  3. You have to purchase your S4 outrigh
  4. The original default APN must be changed to the following to get MMS and data (reboot the phone after making these edits)
  5. The phone has to be unlocked – an unlocking vendor will be able to help you with this if your phone isn’t already unlocked. You will not have to get the phone unlocked if you get a Straight Talk AT&T sim and have a Galaxy S4 for AT&T.
